Brandattack nära försvarsföretagen Rohde & Schwarz och Helsing i München

Runt midnatt den 3 september 2026 kastades flera brandanordningar från ett fordon i rörelse mot en byggarbetsplats i Münchens stadsdel Berg am Laim, omedelbart intill ett komplex med företag inom försvarssektorn, däribland Rohde & Schwarz och Helsing. En anordning antändes nära byggcontainrar och orsakade en liten brand som ingripande poliser snabbt släckte; en annan brandanordning antändes inte och oskadliggjordes därefter av specialister från Bayerns statliga kriminalpolis. Inga skador rapporterades och de materiella skadorna förblev begränsade. Polisen grep en 28-årig kvinna och en 38-årig man, båda bulgariska medborgare, vid en närliggande bensinstation på Innsbrucker Ring kort efter attacken. Bayerns LKA uppgav att eftersom flera försvarsföretag låg runt den drabbade platsen undersökte utredarna en möjlig politiskt motiverad attack och antog inte att Rohde & Schwarz nödvändigtvis var det enda avsedda målet. Rohde & Schwarz bekräftade att företagets egna lokaler inte skadades direkt.

    Around midnight on 3 September 2026, several incendiary devices were thrown from a moving vehicle onto a construction site in Munich’s Berg am Laim district, immediately adjacent to a complex containing defence-sector companies including Rohde & Schwarz and Helsing. One device ignited near construction containers and produced a small fire that responding police officers quickly extinguished; another incendiary device failed to ignite and was subsequently rendered safe by specialists from the Bavarian State Criminal Police Office. No injuries were reported and material damage remained limited. Police arrested a 28-year-old woman and a 38-year-old man, both Bulgarian nationals, at a nearby petrol station on Innsbrucker Ring shortly after the attack. The Bavarian LKA said that because several defence companies were located around the affected site, investigators were examining a possible politically motivated attack and did not assume that Rohde & Schwarz was necessarily the sole intended target. Rohde & Schwarz confirmed that its own company premises were not directly damaged.
