Lyce · Hybrid Watch

Methodology

Lyce is a signal registry, not a verdict engine. It keeps weak, disputed, accidental, refuted and social-only cases visible when they are useful for tracing public reporting, while separating events, sources, assertions, evidence and model metadata.

Scores

Each signal carries four deterministic evidence scores from 0 to 4. They are recalculated from sources and review metadata. A model can suggest text or metadata, but it cannot set, raise or delete these scores.

Score 0 means no positive evidence is retained for that axis. Score 1 is an explicit allegation. Score 2 is an independent indication. Score 3 is established by one origin or by converging independent indications. Score 4 is official establishment or establishment by several independent origins. Unreviewed records expose their stored values and status instead of implying attribution.

Dates and sources

Occurrence is distinct from publication and first observation. When an occurrence date is unknown, Lyce keeps it unknown; it does not silently replace it with the publication date. RSS feeds are ordered by documented occurrence when known, then by publication only within the unknown-occurrence group.

Original source links remain clickable on each signal page with source role and date. SAHA is a seed and recurring source, not independent corroboration of its own sources. Generative outputs are metadata or leads, never attribution evidence.

Automation, corrections and reuse

The pipeline collects, scores, geolocates, localizes and validates public data before publication. Automated status is explicit; reviewed status means an editor has accepted the record state. Source outages do not erase archived signals.

Lyce pages contain original summaries, source metadata and short direct citations. Rights in linked third-party sources remain with those sources. Lyce does not grant a new license over external reporting. Corrections can be requested through the contact page.
