DDoS-attack mot den nederländska regeringens autentiseringssystem
Den 3 mars 2025 störde en storskalig DDoS-attack DigiD, den nederländska regeringens autentiseringssystem, och hindrade tusentals människor från att komma åt statliga och andra viktiga onlinetjänster, inklusive skatte-, kommunala, hälso- och MijnOverheid-tjänster. Flera anslutna statliga system, inklusive DigiD Machtigen, BSNk och Digipoort, påverkades också. Attackerna upprepades och även om den nederländska digitala tjänsteleverantören Logius bekräftade att systemen var måltavlor identifierades inte gärningsmännen.

On 3 March 2025, a large-scale DDoS attack disrupted DigiD, the Netherlands’ government authentication system, preventing thousands of people from accessing government and other essential online services, including tax, municipal, healthcare and MijnOverheid services. Several connected government systems, including DigiD Machtigen, BSNk and Digipoort, were also affected. The attacks were repeated, and although Dutch digital-service provider Logius confirmed that the systems were being targeted, the perpetrators were not identified.
