Drönarrester hittade i distriktet Briceni, Moldavien
Den 24 september 2026 upptäcktes fragment av en drönare i Moldaviens distrikt Briceni, cirka 1,7 km från statsgränsen, efter att luftfartyget till synes exploderat omkring 10 meter över marken efter kontakt med träd. Moldavisk polis rapporterade skador på träd inom en radie på 25 meter och bärgade fragment av flygkropp i glasfiber, elektroniska komponenter, kablar, kraftelement, vingsektioner med servomotorer och en delvis skadad turbojetmotor; vissa komponenter bar märkningen ”Geran-4”. Alla fragment skickades för forensisk undersökning och inga ytterligare sprängladdningar hittades. Denna incident var andra gången den dagen som en drönare av misstänkt ryskt ursprung hittades i Moldavien.

On 24 September 2026, fragments of a drone were discovered in Moldova’s Briceni district, about 1.7 km from the state border, after the aircraft apparently exploded around 10 metres above the ground following contact with trees. Moldovan police reported damage to trees within a 25-metre radius and recovered fiberglass fuselage fragments, electronic components, cables, power elements, wing sections with servomotors and a partially damaged turbojet engine; some components carried the marking “Geran-4. All fragments were sent for forensic examination, and no additional explosive devices were found. This incident marked a second time a drone of suspected Russian origin was found in Moldova that day.
