Estlands statliga institutioner drabbades av den hittills största cyberattacken.

Under helgen 9-10 mars utsattes webbplatserna för många estniska statliga institutioner för den största vågen av DDoS-attacker i landets historia. Attackerna hävdades av pro-Kremlska hackare. Bland de riktade webbplatserna fanns de som tillhör Estlands polis- och gränsbevakningsmyndighet (PPA), skatte- och tullmyndigheten samt justitieministeriet. Attackerna mot dessa institutioner var de mest intensiva, vilket RIA framhöll.

Over the weekend March 9-10, the websites of numerous Estonian government institutions were targeted by the largest wave of DDoS attacks in the country’s history. The attacks were claimed by pro-Kremlin hackers. Among the targeted sites were those of the Estonian Police and Border Guard Board (PPA), the tax and customs board, and the Ministry of Justice. The attacks against these institutions were the most intense, as highlighted by the RIA.
