Deliberate fire set at WB Electronics drone-components facility in Skarżysko-Kamienna, Poland.
Shortly after midnight on 31 August 2026, a fire broke out at a WB Electronics facility in Skarżysko-Kamienna, Poland. The affected site is located at Obuwnicza 4B and is part of WB Electronics’ production infrastructure for unmanned systems. Polish prosecutors later stated that the fire had been deliberately set by planting an explosive or incendiary device containing flammable materials. The investigation was opened under suspicions of participation in the activities of a foreign intelligence service against Poland and commission of a terrorist offence. WB Electronics is Poland’s largest private arms company, and its reconnaissance and attack drones are used by Ukrainian forces. The fire damaged warehouse facilities, with losses estimated at no less than 15 million PLN. Unlike the Lublin fire, this incident was officially treated as deliberate arson and possible sabotage. However, public reporting did not officially attribute the attack to Russia, so the safest tracker status is “Fitting the pattern”, not “Officially attributed.”
