Pro-Kremlin hackers seek to sow doubt at start of EP elections.

On 6 June 2024, on the first day of the European elections, a pro-kremlin hacker group called HackNet stated on their telegram channels that they have successfully targeted the Netherlands political parties such as center-right Christian Democratic Appeal, far-right Forum for Democracy, and Geert Wilders’ Party for Freedom. Additionaly, on the same day Luxembourg and Ireland were affected by the attack.
