A Russian IL-20 flying from mainland Russia to Kaliningrad via international airspace.

On November 11 NATO fighter aircraft was alerted to intercept a Russian military IL-20 plane flying from the mainland to the exclave. Russian plane had no pre-file flight plan, the crew kept the onboard transponder switched on and maintained radio communication with the regional air traffic control centre.
