Russian DDos attack on CORRECTIV.

On November 13, 2024, CORRECTIV published an investigation into Russian disinformation campaign “Doppelganger” and revealed that for the first time an individual had accessed accounts belonging to the campaign via an internet connection belonging to the Russian ministry of defense. On November 16, Russian investigative news portal “The insider” confirmed the investigation. Next day, on November 17 at 8:29 p.m., a DDoS attack began on CORRECTIV lasting until November 19. The website was bombarded with over 300,000 thousand requests per second, leading to it becoming offline.
