A drone with explosives found near Antonov plane in a German airport.
On August 4, a drone was discovered on the evening on the runway at Leipzig/Halle airport in Eastern Germany in a high-security area near a Ukrainian cargo aircraft, that forced the airport to suspend all operations for the night. The drone was spotted by a bus driver who decieded to report the drone. A second unidentified object collided with a cargo aircraft after the plane aborted its landing in Leipzig because the airport had been closed, sustaining minor damage and being able to land safely at another airport. Based on the German Interior Minister Alexander Dobrindt, the drone carried explosives. Western security officials have increasingly linked a series of attempts conducted by Russia.
