Russian hackers target organizations in Poland with ransomware.
On 14 October, 2022, Microsoft’s Threat Intellingence Center assessed that a pro-russian hacktivist group linked to Russia’s military intelligence agency known as “Sandworm” conducted a ransomware attack on transportation and logistics companies in Poland. The attack was named “Prestige” and aimed to destabilize computer infrastructure in Poland to interfere with the flow of goods into Ukraine.
