Two drones enter Polish airspace during large-scale Russian missile and drone attack on Ukraine.
During the night of 2–3 September 2025, the Polish Armed Forces recorded two separate drone penetrations of Polish sovereign airspace while Russia was conducting a major combined missile and UAV attack against Ukraine. General Maciej Klisz, Operational Commander of the Polish Armed Forces, later confirmed that there had been two airspace violations and stated that both objects remained under the control and observation of Polish national forces and units assigned to the country’s air-defence system. Chief of the General Staff General Wiesław Kukuła said that both drones subsequently left Polish airspace without causing damage. Because the objects were assessed as not posing an immediate threat, Polish forces did not engage them. The military did not disclose their border-crossing points, altitude, duration inside Polish territory, flight routes or drone models.
