Estonia lost multiple drones due to Russian GPS jamming.
Estonia reported that it has lost multiple drones due to Russia’s GPS jamming devices. Drone loses have been reported by civilians living close to the border as well. Such problems have been reoccuring since the start of the full-scale invasion in Ukraine, however only this week has the Estonian Police and Border Guard Board established a five-kilometer-long no-fly zone along the eastern border. The ministry of Foreign Affairs of Estonia was one of the first to summon Russia’s charge d’affaires last May to protest the occuring jammings.
