Another drone debris found in Northern Moldova.

On 24 September 2026, fragments of a drone were discovered in Moldova’s Briceni district, about 1.7 km from the state border, after the aircraft apparently exploded around 10 metres above the ground following contact with trees. Moldovan police reported damage to trees within a 25-metre radius and recovered fiberglass fuselage fragments, electronic components, cables, power elements, wing sections with servomotors and a partially damaged turbojet engine; some components carried the marking “Geran-4. All fragments were sent for forensic examination, and no additional explosive devices were found. This incident marked a second time a drone of suspected Russian origin was found in Moldova that day.
