NoName057(16) claims DDoS attack against municipal services in Arzignano, Italy.

On 21 September 2026, NoName057(16)’s Italian campaign included online services associated with the municipality of Arzignano in Veneto. CyberXTron subsequently identified Arzignano as one of the specific Italian victims targeted by both NoName057(16) and Dark Storm Team during parallel European attack waves. The available material supports a DDoS claim against public-facing municipal infrastructure but does not establish intrusion, data theft or lasting impairment of municipal systems. The incident is relevant because NoName057(16)’s Italian campaign followed its German campaign and was explicitly framed within targeting of countries and organisations supporting Ukraine. CyberXTron nevertheless warns that the underlying hacktivist claims are not automatically independently verified.
