O persoană a fost arestată sub suspiciunea de a fi transferat explozivi din Lituania în Polonia.
A fost arestată o persoană care transporta conserve de porumb umplute cu explozivi. Aceste conserve au fost transportate din vechiul cimitir al Lituaniei, care aparent conținea o veche ascunzătoare a GRU. Conservele au fost transportate în Polonia și lăsate lângă un nod de autostradă apropiat de orașul central Lodz. Investigatorii au recuperat conservele rămase din ascunzătoare și au estimat că puterea lor de explozie este echivalentă cu 2,8 kilograme de TNT. Aceasta este suficientă pentru a avaria grav un vehicul sau pentru a provoca răni care pun viața în pericol persoanelor aflate în apropiere. Suspectul a fost ulterior legat și de incidentele cu colete capcană din 2024, trimise din Lituania către Polonia, Germania și Marea Britanie.

An individual was arrested who transported cans of corn filled with explosives. These cans were transported from Lithuania’s old cemetery that apparently contained an old GRU stash. These cans were transported to Poland and left near motorway junction close to central city of Lodz. The invesigators recovered the remaining cans from the stash and estimated that their blasting power is equivalent to 2.8 kilograms of TNT. This is enough to seriously damage a cehicle or inflict life-threatening injuries on people nearby. The suspect was later also tied to the rigged parcels incidents in 2024 that were sent from Lithuania to Poland, Germany and Britain.
