Începe construcția a trei hangare suplimentare pentru aeronave în nord-estul bazei aeriene Petrozavodsk (Besovets)

Într-o imagine satelitară datată 25 iunie 2026, AviVector a raportat că construcția a trei hangare pentru aeronave a început în iunie 2026 în partea de nord-est a aeroportului Petrozavodsk, separată de cele șase adăposturi întărite începute în partea de sud-vest a aerodromului în aprilie 2026. Militarnyi a raportat descoperirea pe 28 iunie 2026. Luat împreună cu construcția din aprilie, aceasta înseamnă că cel puțin nouă adăposturi sau hangare noi pentru aeronave erau în construcție la aerodrom până la mijlocul anului 2026, în paralel cu extinderea garnizoanelor forțelor terestre din zona Petrozavodsk.

In a satellite image dated 25 June 2026, AviVector reported that construction of three aircraft hangars had begun in June 2026 in the north-eastern part of Petrozavodsk airport, separate from the six hardened shelters started in the south-western part of the airfield in April 2026. Militarnyi reported the finding on 28 June 2026. Taken together with the April construction, this means that at least nine new aircraft shelters or hangars were under construction at the airfield by mid-2026, in parallel with the expansion of ground-force garrisons in the Petrozavodsk area.
