Divi droni ziņoti netālu no Minhenes lidostas, izraisot otro secīgo nakts lidojumu apturēšanu

On the evening of 3 October 2025, Munich Airport suspended operations for the second consecutive night after renewed reports of unidentified drones in the airport area. Both runways were closed at 21:36. Federal Police subsequently confirmed that officers had observed two drones in the vicinity of the airport’s northern and southern runways shortly before 23:00; the objects left the area immediately and could not be identified or intercepted. he shutdown caused substantially greater disruption than the previous night: 23 arriving flights were diverted, 12 incoming flights were cancelled and 46 scheduled departures were unable to take off, affecting approximately 6,500 passengers. Travellers remained overnight in the terminals, where the airport and airlines distributed camp beds, blankets, food and drinks.
