Telia optinio kabelio kabelis tyčia perpjautas netoli Gladhammaro, Švedijoje
2025 m. spalio 4 d. netoli E22 greitkelio Gladhammare, į pietvakarius nuo Västervik, buvo aptiktas tyčinis Telia optinio kabelio sugadinimas. Kabelis buvo perpjautas keliose vietose, o tai paveikė infrastruktūrą, teikusią telekomunikacijų ryšį aplinkinėms bendruomenėms, įskaitant Blankaholmą. Policija tyrė žalą kaip įtariamą sabotažą, tačiau iš pradžių tyrimą nutraukė, nes trūko pakankamai įrodymų kaltininkui nustatyti. Apie panašią žalą toje pačioje vietovėje buvo pranešta anksčiau 2025 m., o Švedijos institucijos atskirai tyrė apie 30 išpuolių prieš telekomunikacijų stulpus palei E22 koridorių. Vėlesni pranešimai siejo kelis optinio kabelio incidentus su įtariamuoju, tačiau jokio ryšio su Rusija nenustatyta.

On 4 October 2025, deliberate damage to a Telia fibre-optic cable was discovered near the E22 highway in Gladhammar, southwest of Västervik. The cable had been severed at several points, affecting infrastructure that supplied telecommunications connectivity to surrounding communities, including Blankaholm. Police investigated the damage as suspected sabotage but initially discontinued the investigation because they lacked sufficient evidence to identify the perpetrator. Similar damage had been reported in the same area earlier in 2025, while Swedish authorities were separately investigating approximately 30 attacks against telecommunications masts along the E22 corridor. Subsequent reporting linked several fibre-cable incidents to a suspect, but no Russian connection was established.
