Attacco DDoS russo contro CORRECTIV.

Il 13 novembre 2024, CORRECTIV ha pubblicato un’indagine sulla campagna di disinformazione russa “Doppelganger” e ha rivelato che, per la prima volta, una persona aveva effettuato l’accesso ad account appartenenti alla campagna tramite una connessione internet appartenente al ministero della difesa russo. Il 16 novembre, il portale russo di giornalismo investigativo “The insider” ha confermato l’indagine. Il giorno successivo, il 17 novembre alle 20:29, è iniziato un attacco DDoS contro CORRECTIV, durato fino al 19 novembre. Il sito web è stato bombardato con oltre 300.000 mila richieste al secondo, portandolo ad andare offline.

On November 13, 2024, CORRECTIV published an investigation into Russian disinformation campaign “Doppelganger” and revealed that for the first time an individual had accessed accounts belonging to the campaign via an internet connection belonging to the Russian ministry of defense. On November 16, Russian investigative news portal “The insider” confirmed the investigation. Next day, on November 17 at 8:29 p.m., a DDoS attack began on CORRECTIV lasting until November 19. The website was bombarded with over 300,000 thousand requests per second, leading to it becoming offline.
