L’11 gennaio 2025, la petroliera “Jazz” ha avuto di nuovo problemi al motore e si è fermata sopra un cavo sottomarino rotto tra Lolland e Bornholm, poi è andata alla deriva vicino al gasdotto Baltic Pipe e al cavo C-Lion 1. Peter Viggo Jakobsen, rappresentante dell’Accademia della Difesa, suggerisce che la petroliera stesse cercando di ottenere la posizione migliore per osservare i cavi o fare qualcosa al riguardo.

On 11 January 2025, the tanker “Jazz” again ran into engine problems and stopped over a broken submarine cable between Lolland and Bornholm, then it drifted near the Baltic Pipe gas pipeline and the C-Lion 1 cable. Peter Viggo Jakobsen, representative of the Defense Academy, suggests that the tanker was trying to get the best position to look at the cables or do something about them.
