Persone collegate ai servizi speciali russi sono state arrestate per l’incendio doloso del negozio Ikea di Vilnius.

L’8 maggio 2024, alle 4:00, due persone di età inferiore ai 20 anni sono state responsabili dell’incendio nel negozio Ikea di Vilnius. Entrambi gli autori sono stati identificati come cittadini ucraini e le menti dell’attacco terroristico risultano collegate alla Russia attraverso una serie di intermediari. Il gruppo era coordinato tramite social media e utilizzava messaggi classificati. Gli individui appartenevano allo stesso gruppo responsabile di un incendio in Polonia, quindi la Lituania ha avviato un’indagine congiunta con le controparti polacche. A quanto pare, i due individui erano venuti in Lituania diverse volte prima di commettere i crimini e stavano perlustrando il negozio. Come ricompensa, erano stati promessi loro una BMW 530 e 10.000 euro.

    On May 8 2024, at 4:00 am, two individuals under the age of 20 were responsible for the fire at Vilnius Ikea store. Both perpetrators were identified as Ukrainian citizens and that the masterminds of the terrorist attack are linked to Russia through series of intermediaries. The group was coordinated through social media and used classified messages. The individuals belonged to the same group that was responsible for fire in Poland, thus Lithuania began co-investigation with Polish counterparts. Appartently, the two individuals had come to Lithuania several times before committing the crimes and were scouting the store. As a reward, they were promised BMW 530 and 10,000 euros.
