Un AN-72 russe escorté dans l’espace aérien international sur la route de la Russie continentale vers Kaliningrad.
Le 11 juin, des aéronefs participant à la mission de police du ciel de l’OTAN ont identifié et escorté un avion de transport russe AN-72 qui volait de la Russie continentale vers Kaliningrad en traversant l’espace aérien international. Le transpondeur de l’appareil était allumé, mais l’équipage n’avait pas déposé de plan de vol. Néanmoins, l’équipage a maintenu une communication radio avec le centre régional de contrôle du trafic aérien pendant tout le vol.

On June 11, aircraft participating in the NATO Air Policing Mission identified and escorted a Russian AN-72 transport aircraft flying from mainland Russia to Kaliningrad through international airspace. The aircraft’s transponder was switched on, but the crew had not filed a flight plan. Nevertheless, the crew maintained radio communication with the regional air traffic control centre throughout the flight.
