Drone räjähti lähellä Camencaa neljän venäläisen lennokin tekemän Moldovan ilmatilan loukkauksen aikana
24. syyskuuta 2026 miehittämättömän ilma-aluksen kerrottiin räjähtäneen lähellä säilyketehdasta Camencassa Dniesterin vasemmalla rannalla. Tapaus sattui aamuna, jolloin Moldova dokumentoi useita samanaikaisia UAV-tunkeutumisia Ukrainan suunnasta.

On 24 September 2026, an unmanned aircraft reportedly exploded near a canning factory in Camenca on the left bank of the Dniester. The incident occurred during a morning in which Moldova documented multiple simultaneous UAV penetrations from the direction of Ukraine. Moldovan authorities recorded four drone violations of national airspace during the Russian attack. President Maia Sandu publicly identified the four aircraft as Russian drones and said at least one had exploded in northern Moldova. Residents around Vadul Rașcov and Camenca reported powerful explosion sounds during the same period. A local security official subsequently confirmed that an unmanned aircraft had exploded close to the Camenca industrial facility. The area was secured after the incident. No casualties were publicly reported. Because authorities in constitutional Moldova had limited direct investigative access to the Transnistrian-controlled crash site, the individual wreckage did not receive the same public technical examination as the Gerbera recovered near Cernița.
