Kaksi droonia havaittu Münchenin lentoaseman lähellä, mikä pakotti toisen peräkkäisen yön lentotoiminnan keskeytyksen

Illalla 3. lokakuuta 2025 Münchenin lentoasema keskeytti toimintansa toisena peräkkäisenä yönä uusien tunnistamattomia drooneja koskevien ilmoitusten jälkeen lentoaseman alueella. Molemmat kiitotiet suljettiin kello 21:36. Liittovaltion poliisi vahvisti myöhemmin, että virkailijat olivat havainneet kaksi droonia lentoaseman pohjoisen ja eteläisen kiitotien läheisyydessä hieman ennen kello 23:00; kohteet poistuivat alueelta välittömästi, eikä niitä voitu tunnistaa tai pysäyttää. Keskeytys aiheutti huomattavasti suurempia häiriöitä kuin edellisenä yönä: 23 saapuvaa lentoa ohjattiin uudelleen, 12 saapuvaa lentoa peruttiin ja 46 aikataulun mukaista lähtöä ei voinut nousta ilmaan, mikä vaikutti noin 6 500 matkustajaan. Matkustajat jäivät yöksi terminaaleihin, joissa lentoasema ja lentoyhtiöt jakoivat kenttävuoteita, huopia, ruokaa ja juomia.

On the evening of 3 October 2025, Munich Airport suspended operations for the second consecutive night after renewed reports of unidentified drones in the airport area. Both runways were closed at 21:36. Federal Police subsequently confirmed that officers had observed two drones in the vicinity of the airport’s northern and southern runways shortly before 23:00; the objects left the area immediately and could not be identified or intercepted. he shutdown caused substantially greater disruption than the previous night: 23 arriving flights were diverted, 12 incoming flights were cancelled and 46 scheduled departures were unable to take off, affecting approximately 6,500 passengers. Travellers remained overnight in the terminals, where the airport and airlines distributed camp beds, blankets, food and drinks.
