Sõidukite kogunemine tuvastatud Sapernojes Karjala maakitsusel.

10. juunil 2026 avaldatud ühine SVT–NRK–DR–Delfi uurimine tuvastas Sapernoje, umbes 80 km (8 Rootsi penikoormat) Soomest, kohana, kus koguti sõidukeid. Sapernoje asub Karjala maakitsusel, Peterburist põhja pool, piirkonnas, mis on vastu Kagu-Soomet. Uurimisele reageerides teatas Soome armee ülem, kindralleitnant Pasi Välimäki, et Venemaa taristu Soome lähedal võiks mahutada umbes 80 000 sõdurit, võrreldes varasema umbes 20 000-ga. Rootsi sõjaväeluure- ja julgeolekuteenistuse (MUST) juht Thomas Nilsson kirjeldas arengut tõsiseltvõetava ohuna.

The joint SVT–NRK–DR–Delfi investigation published on 10 June 2026 identified Sapernoye, about 80 km (8 Swedish mil) from Finland, as a site where military vehicles were being accumulated. Sapernoye is located on the Karelian Isthmus, north of St Petersburg, in the area facing south-eastern Finland. In reactions to the investigation, the commander of the Finnish Army, Lt. Gen. Pasi Välimäki, stated that Russian infrastructure near Finland could accommodate around 80,000 troops, compared with about 20,000 previously. Thomas Nilsson, head of Sweden’s Military Intelligence and Security Service (MUST), described the development as a threat to be taken seriously.
