Laev „Jazz” satub mootoriprobleemidesse C-Lion 1 merekaabli lähedal

9. jaanuaril 2025 sattus tanker „Jazz” pärast kuni 50 tuhande tonni nafta laadimist mootoriprobleemidesse C-Lion 1 merekaabli lähedal Rootsi Gotlandi saare lähistel. Kaitseakadeemia esindaja Peter Viggo Jakobsen vihjab, et tanker üritas saada parimat positsiooni, et kaableid vaadata või nendega midagi ette võtta.

On 9 January 2025, the tanker “Jazz” after being loaded up with up to 50 thousand tons of oil ran into engine problems close to the submarine cable C-Lion 1 off the Swedish island of Gotland. Peter Viggo Jakobsen, representative of the Defense Academy, suggests that the tanker was trying to get the best position to look at the cables or do something about them.
