Moldovas Briceni piirkonnas leiti drooni tükke
24. septembril 2026 avastati Moldova Briceni piirkonnas umbes 1,7 km kaugusel riigipiirist drooni fragmendid, pärast seda kui õhusõiduk ilmselt plahvatas umbes 10 meetri kõrgusel maapinnast pärast kokkupuudet puudega. Moldova politsei teatas kahjustustest puudele 25-meetrises raadiuses ning kogus klaaskiust kerefragmente, elektroonikakomponente, kaableid, toiteelemente, servomootoritega tiivasektsioone ja osaliselt kahjustatud turboreaktiivmootori; mõnel komponendil oli märgistus „Geran-4”. Kõik fragmendid saadeti kohtuekspertiisi, täiendavaid lõhkeseadmeid ei leitud. See juhtum oli teine kord samal päeval, kui Moldovast leiti väidetavalt Venemaa päritolu droon.

On 24 September 2026, fragments of a drone were discovered in Moldova’s Briceni district, about 1.7 km from the state border, after the aircraft apparently exploded around 10 metres above the ground following contact with trees. Moldovan police reported damage to trees within a 25-metre radius and recovered fiberglass fuselage fragments, electronic components, cables, power elements, wing sections with servomotors and a partially damaged turbojet engine; some components carried the marking “Geran-4. All fragments were sent for forensic examination, and no additional explosive devices were found. This incident marked a second time a drone of suspected Russian origin was found in Moldova that day.
