Acumulación de vehículos militares identificada en Sapernoye, en el istmo de Carelia.

La investigación conjunta de SVT–NRK–DR–Delfi publicada el 10 de junio de 2026 identificó Sapernoye, a unos 80 km (8 mil suecas) de Finlandia, como un lugar donde se estaban acumulando vehículos militares. Sapernoye está situada en el istmo de Carelia, al norte de San Petersburgo, en la zona que mira al sureste de Finlandia. En reacción a la investigación, el comandante del Ejército finlandés, el teniente general Pasi Välimäki, declaró que la infraestructura rusa cerca de Finlandia podría albergar a unos 80.000 soldados, en comparación con unos 20.000 anteriormente. Thomas Nilsson, jefe del Servicio de Inteligencia y Seguridad Militar de Suecia (MUST), describió el desarrollo como una amenaza que debe tomarse en serio.

    The joint SVT–NRK–DR–Delfi investigation published on 10 June 2026 identified Sapernoye, about 80 km (8 Swedish mil) from Finland, as a site where military vehicles were being accumulated. Sapernoye is located on the Karelian Isthmus, north of St Petersburg, in the area facing south-eastern Finland. In reactions to the investigation, the commander of the Finnish Army, Lt. Gen. Pasi Välimäki, stated that Russian infrastructure near Finland could accommodate around 80,000 troops, compared with about 20,000 previously. Thomas Nilsson, head of Sweden’s Military Intelligence and Security Service (MUST), described the development as a threat to be taken seriously.
