Cazas finlandeses, suecos y de la OTAN identifican una gran formación militar rusa sobre el golfo de Finlandia

El 24 de septiembre de 2026, aeronaves de la Quick Reaction Alert de la OTAN y de los países nórdicos interceptaron una formación rusa relativamente grande que transitaba por espacio aéreo internacional desde Kaliningrado hacia la Rusia continental. El Ministerio de Defensa Nacional de Lituania identifica la formación como tres MiG-31, un Tu-134, un Su-30SM y tres Su-30M2, es decir, ocho aeronaves en total. Ninguna había presentado plan de vuelo y todas tenían los transpondedores a bordo apagados; solo el Tu-134 mantenía comunicación por radio con el control de tráfico aéreo regional. Cazas F/A-18 Hornet finlandeses y JAS 39 Gripen suecos participaron en la identificación sobre el golfo de Finlandia, lo que supone la primera misión operativa conjunta de identificación de las fuerzas aéreas finlandesa y sueca. Las Fuerzas Armadas suecas confirmaron de forma independiente que la formación rusa incluía un avión de transporte Tu-134, cazas MiG-31 y cazas Su-30 y que permaneció en espacio aéreo internacional.

    On 24 September 2026, NATO and Nordic Quick Reaction Alert aircraft intercepted a comparatively large Russian formation travelling through international airspace from Kaliningrad toward mainland Russia. Lithuania’s Ministry of National Defence identifies the formation as three MiG-31s, one Tu-134, one Su-30SM and three Su-30M2 aircraft, or eight aircraft in total. None had pre-filed flight plans and all had their onboard transponders switched off; only the Tu-134 maintained radio communication with regional air-traffic control. Finnish F/A-18 Hornets and Swedish JAS 39 Gripens participated in the identification over the Gulf of Finland, marking the first joint operational identification mission by the Finnish and Swedish air forces. The Swedish Armed Forces independently confirmed that the Russian formation included a Tu-134 transport aircraft, MiG-31 fighters and Su-30 fighters and that it remained in international airspace.
