Ataque DDoS ruso contra CORRECTIV.
El 13 de noviembre de 2024, CORRECTIV publicó una investigación sobre la campaña rusa de desinformación “Doppelganger” y reveló que, por primera vez, una persona había accedido a cuentas pertenecientes a la campaña mediante una conexión a internet perteneciente al Ministerio de Defensa ruso. El 16 de noviembre, el portal ruso de noticias de investigación “The insider” confirmó la investigación. Al día siguiente, el 17 de noviembre a las 20:29, comenzó un ataque DDoS contra CORRECTIV que duró hasta el 19 de noviembre. El sitio web fue bombardeado con más de 300.000 mil solicitudes por segundo, lo que provocó que quedara fuera de línea.

On November 13, 2024, CORRECTIV published an investigation into Russian disinformation campaign “Doppelganger” and revealed that for the first time an individual had accessed accounts belonging to the campaign via an internet connection belonging to the Russian ministry of defense. On November 16, Russian investigative news portal “The insider” confirmed the investigation. Next day, on November 17 at 8:29 p.m., a DDoS attack began on CORRECTIV lasting until November 19. The website was bombarded with over 300,000 thousand requests per second, leading to it becoming offline.
