On 22 September 2026, online infrastructure associated with Reggio Emilia appeared among the Italian targets in the NoName057(16) campaign. CyberXTron identifies Reggio Emilia as one of several targets subsequently hit by both NoName057(16) and Dark Storm Team. Italian cybersecurity reporting also documented DDoS claims against Reggio Emilia during this wave. There is no public evidence in the cited material of penetration of internal municipal networks or destruction of data; the recorded activity concerns disruption of publicly accessible web services. The Russian connection therefore rests on NoName057(16)’s established pro-Russian orientation rather than official attribution of this particular attack to Russian intelligence.
