Instituciones estatales de Estonia sufrieron el mayor ciberataque hasta la fecha.

Durante el fin de semana del 9 al 10 de marzo, los sitios web de numerosas instituciones gubernamentales estonias fueron blanco de la mayor oleada de ataques DDoS en la historia del país. Los ataques fueron reivindicados por hackers pro-Kremlin. Entre los sitios atacados estaban los de la Junta de Policía y Guardia Fronteriza de Estonia (PPA), la junta tributaria y aduanera, y el Ministerio de Justicia. Los ataques contra estas instituciones fueron los más intensos, según destacó la RIA.

Over the weekend March 9-10, the websites of numerous Estonian government institutions were targeted by the largest wave of DDoS attacks in the country’s history. The attacks were claimed by pro-Kremlin hackers. Among the targeted sites were those of the Estonian Police and Border Guard Board (PPA), the tax and customs board, and the Ministry of Justice. The attacks against these institutions were the most intense, as highlighted by the RIA.
