Based on Western security officials, the fire on May 4 2024 in the Diehl factory was caused by Russian saboteurs. Based on German tabloid Bild, German secret services were informed by a doreign intelligence service about concrete indivations of Russia being involved in the fire. Although, the communications intercepts that had evidence showcasing Russia’s actions weren’t admissible in German courts, due to prosecution laws.
