Lyce · Hybrid Watch

Methodology

Lyce brings together public reports and their sources, including incomplete, disputed, accidental or refuted cases. Each record distinguishes reported facts, available evidence and attribution.

Attribution

Attribution is taken from SAHA only when it is explicit and consistent in that source.

Lyce never derives attribution from keywords, model output, claim status or former indicators.

Dates and sources

Occurrence is distinct from publication and first observation. When an occurrence date is unknown, Lyce keeps it unknown; it does not silently replace it with the publication date.

Each record links to the original sources, with their role and date. SAHA compiles reports and their references; it is not independent confirmation of the sources it cites. Model outputs are not attribution evidence.

Automation, corrections and reuse

The pipeline collects, classifies, geolocates, localizes and validates public data before publication. Automated status is explicit; reviewed status means an editor has accepted the record state. Source outages do not erase archived signals.

Lyce pages contain original summaries, source metadata and short direct citations. Rights in linked third-party sources remain with those sources. Lyce does not grant a new license over external reporting. Corrections can be requested through the contact page.

Country groups

These groups describe alliances, aid to Ukraine and the borders of the countries concerned. A signal may belong to several groups; membership does not establish a causal link.
