A Planet Labs satellite image of 4 February 2025 showed a tent camp with capacity for about 2,000 soldiers at the Kamenka base on the Karelian Isthmus, according to an SVT analysis published on 10 May 2025. The New York Times reported more than 130 tents at the site in May 2025.
