Pro-Russian hacktivists commit cyberattack on Polish Academy of Sciences, Institute of Remembrance.
On November 8, Noname057(16), a supposed pro-Russia hacktivist group, claimed responsibility for a DDoS attack on the login page of the website for the Nenetsky Institute of Experimental Biology of the Polish Academy of Science. It is likely that this attack prevented people working at the institute from logging in for some time. On November 9, a wave of DDoS attacks hit the website of the Polish Institute of Remembrance. The first wave in the morning failed, but a second wave in the evening managed to cause the homepage of the website to be inaccessible for a few hours.
