An individual was arrested in suspect of transfering explosives from Lithuania to Poland.
An individual was arrested who transported cans of corn filled with explosives. These cans were transported from Lithuania’s old cemetery that apparently contained an old GRU stash. These cans were transported to Poland and left near motorway junction close to central city of Lodz. The invesigators recovered the remaining cans from the stash and estimated that their blasting power is equivalent to 2.8 kilograms of TNT. This is enough to seriously damage a cehicle or inflict life-threatening injuries on people nearby. The suspect was later also tied to the rigged parcels incidents in 2024 that were sent from Lithuania to Poland, Germany and Britain.
