Russisk AN-72 eskorteret i internationalt luftrum på ruten fra det russiske fastland til Kaliningrad.
Den 11. juni identificerede og eskorterede fly, der deltog i NATO's Air Policing Mission, et russisk AN-72-transportfly, som fløj fra det russiske fastland til Kaliningrad gennem internationalt luftrum. Flyets transponder var tændt, men besætningen havde ikke indgivet en flyveplan. Ikke desto mindre opretholdt besætningen radiokommunikation med det regionale flyvekontrolcenter under hele flyvningen.

On June 11, aircraft participating in the NATO Air Policing Mission identified and escorted a Russian AN-72 transport aircraft flying from mainland Russia to Kaliningrad through international airspace. The aircraft’s transponder was switched on, but the crew had not filed a flight plan. Nevertheless, the crew maintained radio communication with the regional air traffic control centre throughout the flight.
