Začátek výstavby tří dalších leteckých hangárů v severovýchodní části letecké základny Petrozavodsk (Besovets)

Na satelitním snímku ze dne 25. června 2026 AviVector uvedl, že v červnu 2026 začala výstavba tří leteckých hangárů v severovýchodní části letiště Petrozavodsk, odděleně od šesti zpevněných úkrytů zahájených v jihozápadní části letiště v dubnu 2026. Militarnyi o tomto zjištění informoval 28. června 2026. Ve spojení s dubnovou výstavbou to znamená, že do poloviny roku 2026 bylo na letišti ve výstavbě nejméně devět nových leteckých úkrytů nebo hangárů, souběžně s rozšiřováním posádek pozemních sil v oblasti Petrozavodsku.

In a satellite image dated 25 June 2026, AviVector reported that construction of three aircraft hangars had begun in June 2026 in the north-eastern part of Petrozavodsk airport, separate from the six hardened shelters started in the south-western part of the airfield in April 2026. Militarnyi reported the finding on 28 June 2026. Taken together with the April construction, this means that at least nine new aircraft shelters or hangars were under construction at the airfield by mid-2026, in parallel with the expansion of ground-force garrisons in the Petrozavodsk area.
