Vzdušný cíl vstupuje do Rumunska u Ceatalchioi a zůstává ve vzdušném prostoru přibližně deset minut.

Večer 27. září 2026 rumunský radar detekoval vzdušný cíl severně od Chilia Veche, zatímco byl ještě nad ukrajinským územím blízko rumunské hranice. Dvě stíhačky F-16 rumunského letectva vzlétly ze 86. letecké základny v Borcea. Ve 20:35 vydaly úřady RO-Alert pro župu Tulcea. Radarová data následně ukázala, že cíl vstoupil do rumunského suverénního vzdušného prostoru přes oblast Ceatalchioi. Poté se pohyboval podél hranice uvnitř Rumunska přibližně deset minut. Radarový kontakt zmizel u Somovy. Rumunský letecký poplach zůstal v platnosti do 22:05.

On the evening of 27 September 2026, Romanian radar detected an aerial target north of Chilia Veche while it was still over Ukrainian territory close to the Romanian border. Two Romanian Air Force F-16 fighters scrambled from the 86th Air Base at Borcea. At 20:35, authorities issued an RO-Alert for Tulcea County. Radar data subsequently showed the target crossing into Romanian sovereign airspace through the Ceatalchioi area. It then travelled along the border inside Romania for approximately ten minutes. Radar contact disappeared near Somova. The Romanian air alert remained in force until 22:05. A specialised Defence Ministry team was ordered to search the area the following morning. Romania did not formally identify the target as Russian or even conclusively publish its aircraft type in the initial statement. Nevertheless, its route from the Ukrainian side of the Danube during the same period of repeated Russian drone incursions makes the incident consistent with the established Russian cross-border UAV pattern and suitable for Fitting the pattern status.
