Sospetto attacco incendiario danneggia una sottostazione ad alta tensione a Tanneron, Francia

Nelle prime ore del 24 maggio 2025 è scoppiato un incendio in una sottostazione elettrica ad alta tensione a Tanneron, a nord-ovest di Cannes. Le autorità francesi hanno sospettato un incendio doloso dopo aver identificato danni all'impianto elettrico. L'incendio ha temporaneamente interrotto la distribuzione di elettricità in alcune parti dei dipartimenti del Var e delle Alpes-Maritimes, colpendo circa 45.000 famiglie. Sono intervenuti sette mezzi dei vigili del fuoco, che hanno spento le fiamme intorno alle 07:00. L'attacco ha preceduto un altro atto di sabotaggio contro un traliccio di trasmissione ad alta tensione vicino a Villeneuve-Loubet più tardi quella mattina. I procuratori francesi hanno aperto un'indagine sulle circostanze e su una possibile coordinazione tra gli incidenti. Sebbene gruppi anarchici abbiano successivamente rivendicato la responsabilità degli attacchi regionali, gli investigatori non avevano stabilito i responsabili né alcun collegamento russo.

    During the early hours of 24 May 2025, a fire broke out at a high-voltage electrical substation in Tanneron, northwest of Cannes. French authorities suspected deliberate arson after identifying damage to the electrical installation. The fire temporarily disrupted electricity distribution across parts of the Var and Alpes-Maritimes departments, affecting approximately 45,000 households. Seven fire engines responded, and firefighters extinguished the blaze around 07:00. The attack preceded another act of sabotage against a high-voltage transmission pylon near Villeneuve-Loubet later that morning. French prosecutors opened an investigation into the circumstances and possible coordination between the incidents. Although anarchist groups subsequently claimed responsibility for the regional attacks, investigators had not established the perpetrators or any Russian connection.
